Barnabas Smith, Assistant to the Pastor

Barnabas Smith had the privilege of growing up here in Heritage Baptist Church and graduated from Heritage Baptist College in May of 2006. In the summer of 2005, he began the Heritage Baptist Fair Ministry, through which he travels throughout the state of Kansas helping churches have an outreach in their local fairs. God has blessed with hundreds of people being saved each summer.

God also burdened Barnabas’ heart to reach the state of Kansas by putting a gospel tract on every urban door in the state. In April of 2006, under the authority of the church, Reaching Kansas began. Many churches joined in this endeavor to get the gospel to our state, one door at a time.

Barnabas and his wife, Ashlie, also work with the teens, adult, teen, and children’s choirs, and the Sunday school department.
